giant bearded dragon :: Article Creator People With Bearded Dragons As Pets May Be Exposed To A Rare Strain Of Salmonella: Report A rare salmonella strain that has affected several infants in recent years in the U.S. And Canada has been traced back to pet bearded dragons, according to a new study published this week. The study, conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP), linked the species to the Salmonella Vitkin outbreak that struck across North America in 2021 and 2022, following an investigation on the animals being potentially sold by the same breeder in southeast Asia.  The results come as the bearded dragon, also known as the Pogona, is steadily becoming a popular household pet across the country, as shared across social media in recent months.  Per the study, two identified cases of Salmonella enterica serovar Vitkin infection were "linked by whole-genome sequencing in infants" in Ontario, Canada

pedialyte for dogs :: Article Creator The Truth About Dogs Dogs are a brilliant evolutionary success almost without parallel in the animal world, and they owe that success to their uncanny ability to worm themselves into our homes, and to our relentlessly anthropomorphic psyches that let them do it. Throughout much of Africa and Asia to this day, millions upon millions of dogs roam freely through villages and even cities: they are generally despised, shunned, justifiably feared as dangerous and disease-ridden, occasionally eaten; yet they flourish in spite of it all. However consciously and rationally humans may dislike or distrust these free-ranging dogs, however much humans may determinedly try to relegate them to the mental category occupied by rats, lice, and pigeons, still, when man comes face to face with dog, the will to inflict serious bodily harm mysteriously melts away. Dogs, in an evolutionary sense, know this. They cringe, they whine,

(KJCT) - It's a pet owner's worst nightmare: getting a phone call that your dog could be injured and nobody knows why. That was the case for one Grand Junction couple after taking their beloved pet to get a wash and groom. It was Dec. 26, 2023 when Shawna Jones took her dog Sadie to get washed and groomed at the Grand Junction Petsmart. Jones took Sadie in, got her ready to go and then she went back out to her car waiting for the appointment to finish up. Only, the appointment was cut short. In fact, Sadie had only been in her appointment for around 20 minutes when she got a call from the groomer. "They got through the shampoo process, and then I get a call saying that my dog is bleeding," recalled Jones. "And I'm like, Okay, well, what happened? And they said, well, we don't know what happened.&qu

snake head fish :: Article Creator Chesapeake Channa Might Be The Most Delicious Freshwater Fish Of All Time Albert Einstein is commonly credited with defining insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Old Albert immediately popped into my mind when I read that a Maryland senator is trying to pass a bill that would rename northern snakeheads "Chesapeake channa," at least on restaurant menus and fish market chalkboards.  The goal, of course, is to make this invasive fish with python skin and cobra fangs more appealing to diners. The logic here is that if commercial demand goes up, more snakeheads will die, which benefits the environment. On paper it's a fine idea, but if I could sit down with the senator over a lunch of fresh copi, I might be able to help him understand why this probably isn't going to work. Copi, It's What's for Dinner? Have you ever ordered copi at a restaurant? I&
